For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Most Important
When you wake up in the morning, how do you start your day? What is your mind focused on throughout the day? Which relationships do you invest the most time in? Why do you spend your money on the things you do? What is the focus of most of your conversations throughout the day? What are the things you put on your calendar?
Answering these questions can be helpful in understanding some of the priorities in your life. However, the Bible makes it clear that the most important focus of your life should be the fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and then rose from the dead. The Scriptures testify to this amazing fact.
No matter what you are doing with your life, your focus should first and foremost be on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is your number one priority. By confessing Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you can live at peace knowing that your sins are forgiven, your salvation is secure, your joy is full, and your hope is complete.
Take a moment RIGHT NOW and consider, “Have you trusted in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?” If you have, then make Him the focus of your conversations, your checkbook, and your calendar. Place Jesus Christ on the throne of your heart and follow Him with all your energy.
PRAYER
Jesus, I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for giving me life in You and purpose in this world. Today I pray I would abide in You and find my fulfillment and satisfaction in You. I am so grateful for Your love for me, and I want You to continue to remain the number one priority in my life. Amen.
